For using the basics you need to pay
Nice concept but I’m not paying €5-7 a month to have my vCards linked especially when I’ve paid for a case with this included but paywalled off. Wish Nomad would be more open about this.
Best App for Networking Events! 🤝
I’ve been using Popl for a while also with the Apple Watch band and the amazing card all working amazing and helps me to connect to many people in a fast efficient way. Big 5 stars for the team and all they are doing to connect people together in an easy quick way. I would love to recommend this to all my friends
Poor customer service !! App stopped working!!
I made a Popl account and bought a bracelet and sticker for my phone. I also upgrade to Pro. Since a few days I cannot log in anymore; e-mail is not recognized and I cannot reset my password. I still have my QR code which is working, but I cannot log in or change anything. Nothing is working and customer support is not responding to my mails anymore. I disappointed about this which only worked for a month and cost me € 75 including customs and my subscription is on.
Features just keep getting removed
First offline mode gets removed Now single link mode is a premium feature only I can do all of this myself with a regular NFC tag.
Felt scammed
I tried signing up via Apple Pay and they also prompted me to put my card when setting up the free trial. Then I was charged the full membership for the year, which I didn’t mind but then they proceeded to charge me the monthly membership as well. Customer service has been hard to get a hold of. To be fair, I am kind of an impatient person but when they said usual reply time is under 10 mins and I’ve been waiting for 30 mins and still no response. I’m going to go through Apple and bank to issue a hold.
Must Have
I don’t carry my business cards anymore. Made it very easy to give my information. People get impressed with the technology. I recommend buying the sticker.
