My thoughts
The game is so good no bugs great to play
Cities often unreachable; app hangs
Infuriating- events are no playable because some cities are occasionally unaccessible. Even an kill does not remedy. Timed events are unusable. Port City is getting worse. Previously review: I enjoy this game but the adverts still sometimes don’t dismiss. They open the App Store app, can when you dismiss them control goes back to the game. However, the advert does not dismiss; you are in a cycle of switching between in-game advert and the App Store, so this is a crashing serious bug since the only way to resolve is by killing the app. I hate to leave a bad review because a lot of thought and effort has gone into the game play and graphics, but the adverts cause this crashing. Such a shame.
Love it
Great game, I love the fact you can pick it up and come back to the tasks. Different tasks and incentives to keep you engaged. One little problem is the landscape view shifts down on my iPhone 14 and the pill stops you pressing the tabs on the left. Still keeps me playing though.
Not working
Since the last update, the game is loading, but once loaded it tells me to not forgot to claim my award. When i click on the claim button it is not registering. I have cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled game and still having same issue.
Not working after last update
Impossible to play after last update. The game crashes immediately.
Getting unplayable
Great game to pass the time but it keeps closing down on me and getting very slow starting up, one minute I’m playing the next it’s shuts down
New glitch on update
Just updated today 16/2/24, now won’t do anything after loading, been great until then
Fun but can be tedious and bears no resemblance the adverts
It’s a fun game for free (though there are options for in game purchases as always) that helps me pass the time but it consists of sending ships to collect materials, producing goods with those materials and then sending ships to deliver those hoods, so can get a bit tedious. There are regular events in the game, some lasting 3 days, some lasting weeks which add to the variety, though as you compete with other players it’s difficult to get the top prizes, unless you want to spend real money on things like extra factories, special ships or materials to make it easier. But, the advert you see bears absolutely no resemblance to the game play or graphics, so is very misleading (something that unfortunately is very prevalent these days) - but as it’s free you can always delete it if you try it and it’s not your thing.
Update ruined it
I used to love this game. However, the “update” recently has ruined i5 for me. I just want an easy to play game, which this was. Now, it is like you need a degree in shipping management to understand what you need to do. The word upgrade is in brackets, as it’s much more than that; it’s a total overhaul. I’m deleting this now, it’s just no fun to play any longer…
