Pretty nice app. Major con is the fact that you have to have either a yearly subscription or monthly subscription to use. Really unfortunate how expensive it is. The other major drawback is the fact that it doesn’t provide reasoning behind blunders. Just says your move was a blunder, but doesn’t explain why. A person can’t really learn from mistakes if they’re not provided an explanation.
Very nice app for beginners very helpful and for many different reasons
From a score from 10001 to zero
So I paid the 50 percent off the plus plus said it was $149.99 even when I paid it with apple it said it was 149.99 then I get an email saying they charged me $170 like what!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly the gold standard on ios for gto training. although i’m not sure how many people can really benefit from using it if you don’t understand the underlying principles behind why this move is correct or why this is a blunder.
Bugs all over this app. My ELO constantly gets hit by blunders even if there’s 4 options and I choose the 2nd best. It will charge me with a blunder. I deal this game 40 hours a week, and play as much as I can. The app used to be legit but it’s impossible to tell of you’re learning the correct habits, when the AI is sinking your ELO when you make positive ELO decisions. About to drop the app completely, doesn’t seem worth confusing my mind any longer.
Do not fall for their scam pricing. They will offer you a “50%!!” Discount which is NOT 50% off. The regular lifetime price is 199.99 at the time of writing yet the claim to offer a half off price or 149.99. That is dishonest and super suspicious.
How do I cancel my monthly subscription? I’ve looked all over and can’t find out how to. It should be a lot more clear.
Not sure what you all did with this app during the last update, but suddenly almost every hand I train on ends in a blunder. Very frustrating and it wasn’t like that before. Something changed, making your training app almost useless to me, as the suggested lines are not at all close to real life games.
