The app requires a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth 4.0 (Bluetooth LE) OBD2 ELM327 compatible adapter to work. The adapter plugs into the OBD-II diagnostic socket in the car.
The app supports all OBD2 and EOBD vehicles sold worldwide, for example year 1996 or newer model sold in the United States, 2001 or newer gasoline/ 2004 or newer diesel sold in the European Union, etc.
