This free app teaches you nine must-know hybrid/modified blues scale licks that combine elements from E major and minor pentatonic, E Dorian, E Mixolydian, and the E blues scales. It also offers In-app purchases with many other lessons.

Interesting licks but beware in-app purchases

Some potentially useful licks. In-app purchases uncompetively priced. No longer works on iPad 1st generation; according to the developer Apple doesn't support legacy IOS. Update: doesn’t work at all on recent iOS updates.

Awesome learning tool I've bought all the lessons and they are all very usefull. Didnt have any downloading issues. Can we have some rock lessons please? Thumbs up!

Purchased Pro Band and it is fantastic when working withiRig and Amplitube. However while tying out the free Pro Lessons app I can't get it to work with Amplitube and iRig. Even when the Amplitube is set to play in background. Do I have to buy Pro Lesson for it to work in the same way as Pro Band so I can hear my guitar while the lesson is playing? Anyone else had this issue?

Especially with the purchased lesson add-ons - link to backing tracks fails. This needs to be looked at again. The idea is good but it just doesn't quite work.

This is the first app review I have written - but this deserves a lot of praise. I have a lot of guitar apps and internet lessons and this is some of the best I have seen. Within seconds you are playing the new licks over the cool backing tracks. Great job, thanks !
