Pro Metronome is all about customization. Change beat tones, accents, and even the dynamics of your rhythm ("f", "mf", "p" and "mute"). The app supports several ways to experience beats. The free version of the app includes sound and haptics, but upgrading to Pro enables Visual, Flash, Vibrate Modes. All you need
I must admit that I seldom use a metronome for other reasons than to indicate the bpm needed for a particular new work and here the tap function is nice. But if you do want to practice some more intricate rhythmic patterns this metronome is a splendid tool. It’s fairly simple: you can easily set any odd meter, like say 13/16 - and just as important - easily indicate the subdivisions by accents, like say in this case; 4+4+2+3. You can also create polyrhythms... all in all this is just super. If you invest in the Pro version (inexpensive) you can save your own patterns and provide them with a title. What more do one need?

Best Metronome app I’ve found
This metronome has got all that a metronome needs - polyrhythm, subdivisions, accents, and of course standard tempo keeping. However it has more than that! Customisable sounds (actually really useful), reference frequencies for tuning, playlists (don’t use it much, but nice) - and the two things I love the most: a timer (so you can track your practice and take breaks with regular intervals) and a warmup / Automator mode, which enables you to increase the tempo gradually over time! This is incredibly for practicing complicated phrases as you can increase the tempo flawlessly One thing I miss though is the ability to accent polyrhythms. E.g if you play quintuplets in 4/4, and want to accent every fourth tublet, you’d need 20 beats - whereas this app “only” allows 16 beats However, love the app and can’t recommend it enough (If somehow relevant I’m a pro level jazz pianist, using it daily)
