This is such a helpful app it got me exercising and drinking water
This app was recommended to me and I decided I would try the 7 day trial. Loved it so went and paid for it. Then all the glitches began. And I spend more time trying to get my habits ticked off because they just won’t work!!! I will tick a habit and it won’t register as done. This happens over and over again. I contacted the company twice to let them know and see if there was a solution and no response from them. So I would never recommend this app. Save your money and avoid!
App looks nice but within the first minute and the introduction to how the app works I got 4 pop ups pushing me to go premium.. 4 times. Allow me to get used to your damn app first and I will likely go premium to unlock more features. Advertise yourself as a paid app please as there is no way anyone can use the free version. Unusable app try another
A little disappointed as there is no free version of this app. It is listed as free with in app purchases but as soon as you download it (write your name and tap interests), it will ask you to pay 22€ for full access. No free trial or anything. Why is it free to download if you can’t actually use the app without paying? Yes, it’s a once off payment but I have downloaded a free app and I don’t even get to see if I like it? I hate when developers play you like that. It might even be good but I’m not paying 22€ to find out.
Not free, paid
I've been using the app for a few months now and it's really cool to be able to track habits. I have the paid version and it works fine. The only problem is if you want to edit a habit you lose all your data. So you basically can't change anything in your routine. That's an issue cause during our lives we do need to readjust habits sometimes. For example, I used to practice ukulele Monday to Friday, now I want to do it only at weekends cause I'm working on a new project. If I change it on the app, I will lose all the previous data. It's really annoying and I don't know what to do. Would also be great if you could add something that you don't usually do everyday, but you did that day. Example: I usually don't go to the gym at weekends, but this Saturday I decided to go. I can't add it to the app, so I can't tack that activity.
The amount of pop ups pushing me to buy their premium service has turned me completely off from using their free features. What’s the point of offering free features if you aren’t going to let users enjoy them without bombarding them with pop ups pressuring them to upgrade? I don’t normally leave app reviews but I feel very strongly that my experience would’ve been completely different otherwise. I may have even upgraded eventually if I had been able to properly test out the free features to decide if the app is useful for me.
Productive is an elegant software that (finally) brings all of the best features of the different habit apps out there with its own flavour. It has the simplicity and streak tracking capacity of Streaks. It has the personality and self-care concerns of Fabulous (without the aggressive pricing practices) It allows you to group habits by time of day, to schedule them in many ways and to track an habit multiple times a day. It has a pretty complete notification system. It has timed/pomodoro type habits that can be paused and resumed at any time. It’s overall pretty outstanding. It also has an essential feature to me that many other habits app lack and unfortunately it’s its weakest piece: the Apple Watch app. It gets the job done and allows you to check habits but it’s not at the same level with the rest of the app. Its Complications are not very useful, as the small ones don’t indicate any progress. It’s not possible to start a timed habit from the watch and the experience of using the app itself is a bit bland. There’s no sound feedback when you complete an app, any animations to make things a bit more slick or any icons accompanying the habits. I think this is the aspect where Productive has the most room for improvement and they could learn a bit from Tangerine or Streaks. But I still think it’s an unbelievable app, much better than the competition and I’m supporting the developer with my subscription hoping they will consider this feedback.
So fare I love it, real easy to set up, clear and a great way to help you reach your goals
