Professional Pocket Prep

The app got me CAPM certified in 1 month of focused practice, so kudos for that. I also liked: - the explanations and background info on each card - the sheer number of cards - statistics/performance - different ways to build quizzes But the flash card functionality is not ideal, i.e. there is no concept of spaced repetition to optimise retention. A card is either unanswered, correct, missed; plus you can flag cards. The review section is useless as it only shows you a list of answered cards with simple filters for missed and flagged. This section should be more intelligent. But, hey, it got me there 🙂

Great app! It helped me pass the SPHR!

I learned about Pocket Prep from the r/CAPM subreddit. It was invaluable in helping me to prepare for the certification exam. The questions resemble the style of questioning you'll see on the test and I love the ability to dial in and study problematic areas, take timed tests, and get the textbook references within each answer for deeper review. Highly recommend!

I took a class prepping me for the PHR but without this app I don’t think I would have passed. They have this new setting called Level Up that my competitive side truly enjoyed trying to “beat” each level. They gave me practice exams, the ability to review questions, flag questions. Overall an excellent use of my time to study.

I enjoyed the practice questions and the study reminders really helped me stay on top of things. I studied every day for 2 months prior to my real estate exam date and passed on the first try! It was a great supplement to my other study aids. I would not rely on just this app. This definitely helped though.

I really liked this app. I love the question of the day feature it gets you rolling to keep studying and also all the stats it keeps gives you an idea where your progress is, sometimes the notification doesn’t go straight to the question of the day, which is a minor glitch but overall I think is a great app.

I used this app to pass the PHR in 2019 and still use it to keep the info fresh.

Maybe i misinterpreted the purpose of Pocket Prep. It does Quiz you when is great though 90% of the questions is information I haven’t seen so either I’ve spent the last 2 months studying incorrectly or something is happening. However my biggest issue is I’m being quizzed and I can review what I missed but there is not quiz style of review. There is no game or questions that would help me review the information I did not know. All I’m able to do is continue to quiz. So that means I must study separately and then pay a subscription to just use the quiz bank. Which is not what I was looking for.

This is a tool to practice the exam, but a few of the answers in the quizzes for the ASCM CSCP are verifiably wrong.
