ProofShare for Photographers

This was one of the first purchases I made when I started my photography business, and I’m surprised more photographers haven’t heard of it. If you do IPS, you need this app. It makes it so easy for me and my clients to view and pick their favorite photos. No monthly subscription, just a simple, beautiful way to present clients their gallery. I never want to be without it.

Just purchased your app. Really, really like what it has to offer. Used ProSelect for years, but moved to the iPad Pro a couple of years back. Been making do with a less then adequate proofing experience since, but still preferred the iPad/client experience. Thank you for answering a Proffessional Photographers needs with your app. Works great. I would however, like to request more flexibilties with the color branding. Either the basic abilities to individually change the background colors and font colors, ...or just a lot more themes. It would also be a great option to be able to have the main carousel as a branded theme color, with your company logo, but to have the actual galleries more neutral colorings to stay out of the way of the images. Think like a photo-editing app. (Gray backgrounds needed there.) Add this ability and I will move my rating to a 5-star. It’s my only real want here. Thanks. :-)

Crashes when I try to put notes on an image. Please fix it and I will update my review. Otherwise it's great. Easy to use. Update: issue has been fixed. Thank you!

Don't buy this. It's the worst investment. I've gone back to just iPhoto

This app could be amazing. When it actually works, it actually is amazing. 80% of the time or more, I can't even get photos to load into the app. If I do get photos to load into the app, more often than not, the app crashes while I'm showing my clients their images. Not cool guys, not cool. No update has been made in almost 2 years. Again, not cool.

From all the reviews and word of mouth promotion, I really thought this was going to be an awesome solution. It claims to allow branding, but only offered 3 color options for customizing. Yellow and beige-y don't compliment my brand, and plain ok' white isn't an option. I do like the option to sort photos clients love vs photos they don't. Regarding the gallery wall design feature of shoot and sell, the idea is good, but it needs improve,met. The pre-designed gallery layouts can't be edited or adjusted, so you end up designing your own from scratch anyway. For $80, I really expected more from the app. I'll be looking into other options.

I have an iPad2 and version 9.2.1 and the original download wasn't working. I got VERY quick support and after a re download it's working great. My ONLY complaint is that you need music licensing which isn't cheap to play any music at all. I wish it came with a few stock tracks and the option to in app purchase more or play from your iTunes. Honestly other than that it's a terrific app and I can't wait to use it at my next session!

Seriously, just buy this. This is the best app available to do photography proofing on your iPad. If you are doing In Person Sales (IPS) for photography then you need this! Not only is the application incredibly easy to use, but the tutorials and FB support group are amazing too. Better yet, get the bundle that has Shoot & Sell too, they are a fantastic combo.

I love my Shoot and Sell Bundle with Proofshare! I am able to do my entire IPS session with these two apps on my iPad and use my apple TV to make it nice and big to view. First I start off with creating their slideshow within minutes through proofshare. Then we are able to design their wall art through Shoot and Sell. I love how both programs work hand in hand with each other with such ease. I also sell Organic Bloom frames, so Shoot and Sell makes it super easy to design frame collections as well. Since having these apps and doing IPS I have been able to more than triple my sales. My clients love being able to deisgn their collections and seeing them come to life. It used to take me about an hour to put together their slideshow in iMovie. Now with Proofshare I can do it in 2 minutes, seriously, its so fast. I highly recommend these apps, you will love them!!

This app is one of the best things to hit the photography world. In the first session, my orders increased enough that it paid not only for the program but for the iPad to use it with! The ability for my clients to see what their photos will look like on their own walls gives them the assurance to buy much larger than they would have otherwise, I cannot recommend it enough!
