You “finished it?” How ya figure?
Relaxing music, fun concept, But I don’t understand anyone calling it relaxing when out of the gate the trees burst out, in all directions, and within 3 seconds tree is either dead or you have a stick left……. The levels make no sense. Star - white, black with white boarder, blue, circle around any of those or not…did I complete the level or not? Why aren’t all level symbols left the exact same in my wake of completions?
Amazing game
Prune is a beautiful and peaceful game that I keep coming back to. I love the whole idea of you controlling the growth of a tree. The images are stunning to look at, even though it might seem simple. Really satisfying to play after a long day. Overall wonderful game. 5 stars!
Beautiful and Insightful
I started playing this game amid Covid-19 spread and quarantine time. I must say this game gave me hope. Each time the trees bloom through hardship and poison I would smile. The art is beautiful.
I would play it again and again…
Gets old
Wish they would update with some new levels. Gets pretty boring after you play through a few times
My opinion
The game was really sweet and relaxing, but I wish there where more levels and maybe the music would be just a bit updated, I like it and all but maybe make it so each level as different a type of music. Something to go with each levels own person style. But all together was a great game, I would recommend this game to people who just wanna do something to relax.
Beautiful
This is an amazing game.
Would not recommend buying this
Let’s face it. It’s a boring game. I got it on sale for $0.99. But I still don’t think it’s worth it.
Mostly lovely.
Played through this normally, decided not to go for the post-credits puzzles. This is really pretty, and the gameplay is just thoughtful enough. Every world changes things up importantly, and the concept doesn’t overstay it’s welcome. At best, it’s really satisfying to figure out the right direction to cultivate your tree, and which branches to retain. I found this more pleasant as a sensory experience, though; it’s got a gorgeously stark visual style, and there’s something poetic about the core premise. The puzzles can sometimes feel arbitrary, alas; it didn’t seem like there was a defined solution to any of them, and the trees generally seemed random. But it’s never unfair, and even when it’s too easy, it looks and sounds great, is admirably varied, and keeps up its metaphorical resonance. Solid stuff.
Worth the money
Pretty good, but a tutorial would be nice
Unique & Satisfying
These poor trees end up in some challenging situations! With melancholy music in the background, I guide them towards the light where they bloom and chime in gratitude. The art is beautiful and the puzzles are intriguing. It’s also an interactive reminder that when planted in adversity, often the key to growth is to cut off what’s holding you back.
