Whoever was in charge of deciding we needed this at our air medical company should be let go. What an embarrassing way to determine fatigue. I could have designed this app in 20 minutes. There should be an internal investigation because I think who picked it is friends with the product developer. I have had friends who were drunk take the test and they passed. So are they fit for duty?

If we have to deal with the nonsense mandatory completion of this "fatigue determination tool" at least don't make it worse by making it longer, and adding additional stupid questions. The longer the test, the more I want to throw my phone through the wall. Absolutely absurd app. Should be taken off the internet completely.

Where are the peer reviewed studies that this is an effective way to measure alertness or an accurate test to begin with? I question the legitimacy and qualifications of any medical professional that pushes this garbage on their patients or company employees. This app should have a picture of a clown and have you honk the nose instead of a box.

After being browbeaten for four years to use PVT, being told that it can diagnose cancer, heart issues and fatigue, can confirm no validity to these claims. Continue to do the test because I am paid to.

Used at Guantanamo for nefarious purposes. Very effective at breaking suspects though information obtained during interrogation not always accurate.

Junk, scam, joke…. Some how the sales person got in front of a bunch of industry safety reps from numerous aviation companies, who by the way have very little to no aviation experience or knowledge, and was able to convince them to purchase this program… I have very little confidence in our senior management team that they actually have any idea what they are doing… This has to be the most idiotic thing I have ever been forced to use… what’s next breathalyzer and blood test before each shift??? Some safety manager out there is beating his chest and cleaning that feather in his hat for implementing this garbage… Do better industry, do better!!! With the shortage in Pilots and Mechanics you now want to force this down the throats of the remaining professionals who are on the verge of leaving. Let’s try to focus on pay, recruitment, and training. Stay away from this garbage!!!!

What does this even prove? If I fail or don’t take it nobody in our company comes and talks to me about it. Whoever was in charge of setting this as the standard for a flight company should be fired.

Complete waste of our valuable time while we should be preparing for our tasks. Company was scammed into this. Yet they are fully on board with this. This whole program is just for data collection. Zero use for determining actual fatigue. I actually score better while dead tired. Company should be using money from this on actual safety.

Very glitchy

They claim this is the gold standard of fatigue testing for flight operations. I would hate to see what the average testing looks like. Someone made a lot of money for a complete joke. Not the first time someone got rich on selling junk by being a good salesman; but certainly embarrassing for those that were dumb enough to pay money for their companies to use this worthless app. Too bad. Safety is important; but it is no wonder we continue to have accidents when we try and pawn this kind of garbage off as the solution.
