Qnap going in the wrong direction
qnap is transitioning to QuMagie which is a wonderful idea that does not work well. We cannot have QuMagie require that AI core is always on. alternatively we need Qphoto to have the same features/look and feel of QuMagie and run AI core and QuMagie on schedule on the NAS, making Qphoto a “static view” of QuMagie. Also, do you really expect me to open an app for editing a photo and another app for finding the photo, downloading the photo, checking the photo is downloaded, and afterwards editing in another photo app (?!) checking it gets uploaded? Let us select a default editing app for photos. Also gifs playback does not work So please stop and rethink what you want to achieve because you are missing the overall design. We don’t mind waiting two months more and get a good product.
