it works if you can get through the numerous pop ups trying to take money out of your wallet with a terrible subscription plan. cannot believe it’s in a app that’s this simple. makes me feel let down by humanity and it’s grifting.

You shouldn’t have to subscribe to a barcode scanner. This is idiocy.

I love this app but you do need to pay

This app on first and second runs places you in the App Store to install a subscription app that I knew nothing about. Every scan triggered a modal pop up with a question ‘Am I enjoying the app?’. I’m not required to provide that much validation to my actual girlfriend. The “Free Trial” subscription trap is also very concerning. I would not recommend this app even to a person I disliked. It does read QR codes by the way.
