Qrafter: QR Code Reader

Tried different QR code reader/generator, but this is the best… tried all codes I could find (really mini), dirty, covert with Cello Tabe, Medicament boxes, everything… just point on it and read immediately. Never any problem! Got the paid version and never regretted a second! Works very well (latest version) on my iPad Pro… and older version on iPad mini…. Brilliant !

This is a great QR scanner but you can’t add it to the control centre! How weird is that?

I’ve been using the app for years and planning to buy paid one. The only thing I’m not sure about is the iCloud feature which seems being turned off sporadically on its own. I realise that is free version with ads and so on but is the turning off issue part of this free ver limitations? It would be pity to buy one and have such an annoying bug. Thank you

This App is one which I’ve used for many, many tasks. Not only is it a simple App (do not confuse simplicity for lack of features; nor complexity for a plethora of features and/or advanced functionality); however it’s also useful for lots of tasks that one may not think of. It’s useful and easy to create & read QR, Aztec, Data Matrix and various Bar Codes; EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, ITF, ITF-14 and Codabar. However it also supports Encryption of the data and outputs the Encrypted data as your chosen Coded format. Not only is this useful for security, however you can also encode the PNG image itself in Base64 and place that encoded text within other files using Steganography or simply append/prepend that Base64 Encoded text to existing Base64 Encoded text. If you’re wondering…yes you can take a PNG file and perform a Base64 Encode/Decode and extract the text or output the encoded text (even with prepended or appended Base64 encoded text added; within limits of course, too much data could corrupt the image). In Conclusion: This App is Elegantly designed, well thought through in its functionality and importantly does not have pointless and/or redundant features. The Developer has not fallen victim to ‘Design Creep’ and this fact reveals itself in the form of the aforementioned compliments/observations set forth above. Great Job to the Developer 👌🏻

Wants access to my devices data to scan a QR code. No thank you. I have no issue with ads, but don’t try to harvest data in order to do so.

Latest update forces you to give up your privacy or pay, very poor from the developer.
