THC IS A DRUG

If you are reading this looking for a reason not to smoke, I'm begging you not to. After 10+ years of stonerdom, when trying to quit, I experienced dreadful hypnic sleep (jerking awake right before falling asleep, maddening). Alternating hot/cold sweats and severe irritability get old very quick, too. It is truly so awful when you see how dependent you are on it; at one point I hadn't slept for a week and started hallucinating -- but I got over it eventually. Before, I never believed in physical addiction with THC, because we're literally taught in school that the only side effects are cotton mouth and munchies... All lies. I wish I had this knowledge 10, 12 years ago after I took my first hit. I wish I had just developed the coping skills to live my life without having to lean on substance abuse. With weed in particular, it's so hard to admit when it's a problem, especially with how readily available it is these days and with all the misinformation about it not being addictive. Thanks for this app that is specific to my problem (you feel a little silly trying to use an app intended for heroin users and alcoholics for weed. Just hits different).

Great, Simple App

This app has everything I was looking for… it shows how much money & time you save by not smoking, as well as a constant timer or how long you’ve been weed-free.. I also really like the fact that it offers “distractions” (games, relaxing pictures, etc) & mantras. It also gives you a Panic Button that sends a text to a contact of your choosing which I think is super creative and helpful. It’s unfortunate that it has a Pro Version, but that’s most apps nowadays sadly

Helpful app!

I got in with the wrong crowd in high school and started smoking weed. It permeated into my adult life, and sure enough, I was now addicted to weed. Thanks to this app for helping me quit weed! Don’t believe the people that say weed is not addicting. It is! Quit it.
