Race Ultra is the world's first ultramarathon planning app. Built from firsthand experience and fuelled by a passion for enhancing the athletic journey, Race Ultra brings technology and endurance together, to cater to the needs of ultra athletes worldwide.
Create event - Choose from the list of preloaded templates created from the thousands of events held across the globe or create your own unique adventure without constraints.
Add checkpoints - Each checkpoint allows you to add a distance, pace and stop time that is then used to calculate your expected arrival time and overall race/event time.
Add cut-off times - You can enable a cut-off time at each checkpoint, simply add the cut-off time for that checkpoint and the app will calculate the minimum pace required to arrive before the cut-off.
Checkpoint facilities - Check out what facilities each checkpoint has to offer and add them to the checkpoint details so you know what to expect as you move through the race. E.g. first aid, toilets, showers, sleep, water, snack etc.
Invite crew members - Build your crew to support your event in the crew page. Invite a crew chief, crew members and observers.
Chat with crew - You and your crew can stay in touch through the inbuilt chat feature. A private chat feature allows for critical information sharing and messages of encouragement.
Load your gear bag - In the gear page you can virtually pack gear at each checkpoint before the race so there are no mistakes on the day. Pre-loaded lists of mandatory gear, nutrition, clothing and survival gear are to help guide the planning.
Monitor your progress - During the race, when you check in and out of each checkpoint, the app will continually update your planned arrival times at each of the following checkpoints so your crew know when to expect you.
Not just for runners - Configured to support ultra distance running, hiking, cycling and paddling adventures.
Race Ultra provides a free 7 day trial, usage beyond this trial period is on a paid subscription. Crew members will be able to access your event on the free version.
You can subscribe and pay on the App Store, using your Apple ID. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hrs before the end of the current period. Subscriptions can be managed by the user via the ‘Manage Subscription’ page in settings. Any unused portion of the free trial will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.
