MIDI programming not working AUv3.
In the standalone version, MIDI programming can be accomplished. In the Audio Unit in GarageBand iOS (ipad) it can’t. You tap the knob on screen, but it never gets operated by the midi controller control selected, even though it worked with the same one in standalone. Teaching it in standalone, does not transfer it to the Audio Unit one when you try that later (so it’s not ‘remembered’ or handed-over). On the sounds, it would be good if a preset or two that made a musical output happen was supplied (as opposed to discordant which I can manage on my own it seems!). Happy to try it again, perhaps it suffers from being a more complex output that say ‘Quinta’ which directly does an octave above and below, the note struck, and doesn’t involve echoes. That effect too, does have a ‘fifth’ it can generate, but again, the effect is very immediate, and predictable, so perhaps that’s easier to make harmonious.
