Having username at the top of the screen at all time is kind of pointless when there is only one account.

No email support for a simple question. I wonder what's going on. I've been a loyal Raindrop.io subscriber for many years. The owner used to reply to me. Now my questions remain unanswered. This is what I call negligence or arrogance. Very frustrating. Looking for alternatives.
raindrop now prevents you from adding all your bookmarks again & will delete old collections. not happy as i want to keep some collections separate though they might have duplicates. so now raindrop will delete all your collections without permission & you can’t even tell where the newly added bookmarks are added. i know for a fact i added some sites & they are missing in raindrop AND chrome so i don’t want my collections auto-deleted. because then all the sites that have disappeared from chrome’s bookmarks now won’t appear in raindrop since raindrop wants to DELETE all your old collections if you want to add all bookmarks again!
I like this app, but it's frustrating how when I order folders, it often won't save my ordering. I end up refreshing several times to check if the ordering has been saved, and it frequently hasn't and reverts the ordering to what it was before I ordered them. It's been a very unreliable feature for me. Please fix it.
Raindrop.io presents itself as an alluring solution for bookmarking and organizing digital content, yet my experience reveals a critical flaw in its functionality—specifically, its search capabilities. Despite the platform's robust features, I encountered significant issues when attempting to search for words within PDFs saved in my collection. Unfortunately, these searches often returned no results, suggesting an inability of the system to effectively index and retrieve content from within PDF documents. Adding to the frustration, when I sought assistance through their support system, the response was less than satisfactory. Each attempt to connect with customer service resulted in a message suggesting I return the following day for assistance. However, this cycle of deferred help repeated itself, leaving my concerns unaddressed and my issues unresolved. This shortfall, particularly with the search function and customer support, considerably undermines the utility of Raindrop.io for users who rely on precise and efficient retrieval of information from their saved documents. For a tool that promises to streamline and enhance the organization of digital resources, these limitations are disappointing and significantly impair the user experience.
Chrome extension for desktop now requires access to you entire browsing history... Why?? Looks like I'll be looking for a new app. Goodbye raindrop.
This most recent version of Raindrop finally made me switch to using exclusively for my reading list along with movies I want to watch, books I want to see, presents I want to buy and a few other things on top. The app is great, and the web interface is wonderful. There have already been minor updates that have improved what I thought were already good features into great ones.
I love the app but searching is so difficult. Both parsing search results and actually finding things is extremely tough. If the pages html content could be saved for fuzzy searching that would be phenomenal.
This extension was great when it used to work. At some point the highlighting functionality just failed and it no longer works. Under Safari extensions settings, you can no longer provide it with access to websites and so the highlighting feature just is unable to work right now. The developer really needs to roll out an update so that this extension can do again what it was designed to do. until then, it’s pretty much useless.
Having used Evernote, Instapaper, Pocket and many others over the years, I can without a doubt say Raindrop is the best bookmark/“things” manager. The iOS integration is great and the browser add-one work flawlessly. This is a no-brainer app if you’re looking for a spot to store all of the interesting things you come across on a daily basis.
