My first medium rare steak
I was pretty excited about trying this out. Watching the temperature go up from the other room was awesome. It also lets you know the estimated time to ideal temperature based on how fast food is heating up. I honestly don’t know what level of done my steak was in the past, but after seeing what an actual medium rare looks like, I feel lucky I never gave myself food poisoning in my uninformed cooking adventures and grateful for the culinary deliciousness I now cook with the Range.
Love it
I’ve had a range since their kickstarter campaign and I upgraded when they came out with the dial. It’s make cooking in the kitchen way easier and more precise. Only thing I wish they would add is a watch widget so do I don’t need to be near my phone.
Touch and go
Ever since I have upgraded to the new iPhone the thermometer will not connect. Good luck to everyone else. Looking for an alternative smart thermometer.
FRUSTRATING
Update. Many issues with connecting. After the update it won’t connect and the ap keeps crashing. Now what? Dinner is ruined?
Crashes every time
Can't use it with my Range Dial. It crashes every time I use it. Please fix it.
App needs some serious work
I received the Range dial as a gift. The concept is great, but the app does not work. I'm unable to get a temperature to hold. The temp grid doesn't show up. Please put some work into your app.
Desired feature
To be able to directly plug ANY thermometer cable into the 3.5mm jack would make this app a MUST for every home cook. It would also be a great gateway to your product. Suggestion: make this app function with any thermometer cable and charge a small price ($2-$5) With your product, include a coupon code for the AppStore to get the app for free. I don't want to hurt your business so I will rate 5 stars even though I can't currently use it.
Great app, but where's the Apple Watch app?
Love using the app, with the iPod touch I have, but iGrill has passed it with Apple Watch Support
Great app!
I use this all the time for grilling. Indispensable.
