Rankers Camping NZ

This app together with Camper Mate and downloaded offline maps in Google Maps is your personal lifeguard when travelling around NZ with limited cellular coverage! Great app, gets the work done and caters to youth camping needs.

We used the app everyday as we traveled around NZ in a camper van, and needed to find campsites, dump stations etc on our way. The best thing is that you can use it offline, as you rarely have any network, and you can check which activities are available around you as you go. Very easy to use.

Rankers app is amazing for all travellers. If you want to freecamp in a van or tent, stay at holiday parks or motorhomes. Rankers app shows you so many great places to stay the night. I'll be using it for my entire trip in NZ!

This app makes your stay/road trip in New Zealand a lot more easier. It is also possible to download the map and data to offline use, which is very convenient when you are on the road! Perfect app

Framragende App når man er på egen hånd i NZ. Vi har brugt den hver dag. Især god da den kan bruges både online og offline. Der er mange steder fx vestkysten af Sydøen hvor der mangler internet jævnligt.

This app is a road trip game changer. Thank you Rankers!

There are several campsites missing from this app. I have notified the developer of these but with no response. There are very few reviews and photos for a lot of the campsites and incorrect information. I have taken the time to add reviews and photos and these have never shown up on the app. Waste of time. I’d advise using one of the more popular camping apps to ensure you are getting the correct / up to date information on the camp sites.
