I am a 50 years old gamer with 30 years gaming experience, mainly RPG: Morrowind, Gothic, Oblivion, Skyrim, and many others. This game is incredible well done from all points of view: graphics (10 from 10), plot, sound... To play something like this on iPad is a dream.
Excelent pe Ipad3 si din cate am inteles se vede mai bine pe Ipad4
Like many others said I bought this to play with a controller because the speaker for the game said it supports all controllers, ok lies. If I could use a controller I have no doubt I would 5 star and spend countless hours in it . They would get SOOO much more money if they added controllers
Even with the extremely clunky navigation, bad view field, the poorly ported interface, and horrible inventory views, I’d probably have pushed on except for bugs. I’m playing on a compatible iPad, and the game crashes all the time, usually when interacting with inventory, always when trying to read something, and often when fighting very poorly coded monsters, such as large dinosaurs. Even with constant saving, it’s just untenable. And then I hit a glitch in the Citadel of Ror-Dan where the crystal key falls and isn’t visible or retrievable. I’ve tried every possible way (leaving and re-entering to reset), and the key just goes away when it falls. This just isn’t worth it for a game that would have seemed good 10 years ago but now feels stale and buggy.
This game has a great story, kind of like reading a book tbh, definitely would recommend if you like fantasy and open world games
The reasons this game is a ton of fun to play is all over the other reviews - so buy and have fun if you haven’t purchased yet. My issue is with Backbone controller support - for which this game is lauded for supporting. And it would be amazing - but it doesn’t seem to be true. I get no hint of the Backbone being recognized, and it doesn’t look like you have to progress to a certain area/level for support to begin. So, this should likely be sorted out, because it is more than a little annoying for those that don’t do touch screen controls well.
Still one of the best RPG experiences ever made for iOS. And runs beautifully on my new iPhone Pro Max.
But the story is too short, and the quests and builds are not enough. Also, There’ s no special powerful crossbow and no magic for range attack, what makes stealth bow build incomplete. Compared to Aralon, this game has less skill but better action. So maybe you can make Ravensword becomes open world action rpg game, rather than make it similar to Elder Scrolls. After all, it’s only my thought. Anyway, I hope the Legacy can come out in the near future.
Looks like it could be a decent game, but it keeps crashing when I try to enhance my bow. I’ve asked Apple for refund. Plays more like a beta test and not a finished game.
