Hi, i scanned my passport, all the information appeared after but it says “ Verification result Authenticity not validated”. And the country signer “ FAILED Could not build a chain to a trust anchor”

My passport got wet and this app helped me to check if the chip of my passport is still working.

Verification result of my passport is “authenticity not validated.” Under Country Signer, it says “FAILED - could not build a chain to a trust anchor.”

This is a good app👍but why I can’t read my green card(US)?🤔

Scanned the image of my passport fine. I followed directions and even used another app to ensure my NFC reader is active on my phone. Running iOS 16.6 - iPhone 13 mini. Have yet to have it read once. Even removed the case on my phone, thinking that had something to do with it. Nada. Zip. UPDATE - I actually read that someone said to slowly move the phone around. This did work after the third try. So, now it seems I can get it to scan sporadically. But thats something!

Antigua and Barbuda passport can‘t be recognized well， Authenticity not validated.

Right after scanning when you press Next it resets the whole thing. Can't look at the information for more than a few seconds. 2/5 at most

If you looking for a good MFC Reader/Writer look elsewhere. This App is a big joke.

I washed my passport right before a trip to Cabo and the closest appointment to get a new passport would have been an 8hr drive. Thank god I found this app, I used it and the moment of truth was today as I checked in and everything worked! 🙌🏼

It works but had to doing it horizontally during scanning my passport. I wish there was function to copy and paste the data.
