It start transferring photos and stack after few seconds, this bug was reported on their forum many times, and many years ago, but Netgear just didn’t care.

Can be used to browse and view the files on your NetGear router connected NAS device only. None of the functions to try and work with the file works. Can’t save, can’t share, can’t export/import into another app... crashes all the time. Please fix this.

Confirming that this app is pretty much useless for all intents and purposes (at least the basic ones that should be easily supported). I downloaded it to play MP3 music off my USB drive and it goes to a new window then jumps right back without doing anything.

Since the latest update my app crashes and it thinks every image I have is new and needs to be backed up again... very frustrating. Not well tested.

Every time there is an update, you fix some issues and introduce ones! In this last update you fixed the issue of background media backup but somehow reset its state! Now it started backing up around 4000 photos and videos from zero!!! And funny thing, it’s stuck somewhere in the middle and does not upload any further.

Lately (6month ago), media backup stopped working. Was hoping that it will be corrected shortly, but still dosent work correctly. Planning to buy a new one, will definitively look to buy an other brand. Sad, it was working so well, i don’t know what happen that it dosent work anymore. Dont buy netgear cloud product.

No too many features but at least seem to work. Easy configuration to link the NAS within ReadyCLOUD and the device was available right away from the application.

Won’t backup pictures and no access over WiFi after iOS 11 update

I have been using 2 HDD hooked to a Netgear R8500. Wow, Finally I own my personal cloud. Unfortunately I bought an iPad with iOS11 but can’t open PDFs or files anymore. But with Windows 10 just fine. Lost iPhone media backup too since iOS 11. My wife still is on iOS 10 and works perfectly. Good God who did they hire to code this App at Netgear? Come on Netgear, if you can’t keep your app to par then Get out of the personal cloud business on iOS! iTunes media server unstable but fantastic when it works. Netgear lost it’s path. So much potential lost with iOS. On Windows, works very well though but this review is for iOS which is painfully bad now with iOS11
