RealShaker - A highly realistic and responsive shaker/rattle instrument

It’s cool because it models the physics of a real shaker. However, it sounds like garbage and is therefore not practical for actual use in a music setting.

Simple design, good sounds and acceptable latency for jamming to music or capturing a recording on the go. Things for the next update... different shaker designs and ability to capture/export audio in app, or play music in the background and capture the isolated shaker audio. If there was a way to open up the app as an instrument in GarageBand, that would solve a lot of issues and probably get more people on board as well. Excellent work!

This doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but if you want something that performs just like a shaker egg then this is the thing to get.

Not sure what the other reviewer is saying, this app is truly exceptional. Unlike other similar apps that use prerecorded sounds this one is actually modeling the real physics behind the sounds. It really is super intuitive to use... absolutely amazing!!

This app is pretty neat! Realistic physics based sound and it works when the phone is off or even when you are listening to music in Music.app! Not sure why above person had any problems, but maybe they had the mute button in the app toggled?

It looks real pretty but it doesn't work. No sounds. I want my money back!!

RealShaker has filled the void left in my heart from when Songza was shut down.
