Recipe Slate

Ok I am someone who adores the botw and totk cooking mechanics so this app made me so happy when I found it, I’m mainly leaving this review to ask if you will be adding the tears of the kingdom recipes to this app or if you will be making a new app either way I will be so happy

For someone like me who loves to play Breath of the Wild this is a great app for managing my recipes. Best of all, no annoying pop up ads! A very useful app I recommend to all BotW players!

The app is great!!! I do not know how this app does not have many ratings I do think that this app should have pictures of the foods

I’ve tried a few of the different apps for cooking, and so far this one is by far the best! While they might improve with updates, right now none of them are as thorough as this one. Besides full lists of all the meals and elixirs possible, there’s an effects list where you can see all the ingredients that have that particular effect. But the big one for me is the complete top to bottom list of all the materials. Pick an ingredient and you can see all the particulars for it, and an option to show all the meals or Elixirs that can be made using it. For example, selecting bokoblin brings up the number of hearts it adds in each state, Raw,roasted,frozen, and cooked(none for this, since it’s for elixirs), the effect of it has a specific one and the duration, the resale value and the location to find it(on bokoblins for this). Clicking “View Elixirs” brings up the full list of elixirs that can use it as an ingredient(there are 11 for this one). From there, you can see all the other ingredients it can be mixed with, as well as full details on the resulting elixir showing the specific changes in the elixir depending on the number of ingredients used, so you can see what if any effect having more then one of each and every possible ingredient will do to the final elixir(for example, 1 restless cricket and 1 bokoblin horn restores 0.2 stamina bars. This goes up for each cricket added but does not change at all adding more bokoblin horns). You can also bookmark certain meals by clicking the star next to their name to add to the fifth list after Meals,Elixirs,Effects,and Materials, called Favorites. Can’t recommend more highly. Five stars!

I wish I found this app when I first started playing it’s super handy

I actually used this for a few years before reviewing, and it’s the best. I hope there will be a version for TOTK.

I searched this up with no hope thinking an app like this didn’t exist, but it does! And it’s amazing you can search for recipes with a specific items or for specific recipes to see what ingredients you need, very helpful I do have one complaint though, it doesn’t show you the pictures of the recipes. It shows all other info you could ever need but there are no photos

The meals need better organization based on effect. For the elixirs, it shows each effect (speed boost, stealth, etc) as its own category and which elixirs can be made to get that desired effect. However, meals only have two categories - effect and no effect. It would be better if they were sorted by the TYPE of effect they provide rather than just whether or not they provide an effect.

I’ll be honest, I was a bit hesitant downloading this app thinking it was another one of the ad spammed apps or in app purchases type of guide. I was completely wrong! This app is exactly what I needed, it’s not cluttered, everything is perfectly laid out, even found that you can check all the different stats each meal can offer. Love the app! Im already recommending it to friends!

This app has everything you could ask for in a cooking guide and more. I appreciate the fact that this is in-app purchase free. This is some of the best work I have ever seen by a fan and I hope they make a similar app for the sequel.
