Fun and challenging game
Seems pretty simple in the beginning but cranks up the difficult after about stage 4. There are 20 stages in ascending difficulty. Lots of variety in the boards/enemies. Was really happy with this game. You don’t have to spend money to have an enjoyable experience but it’s pretty hard to resist as getting gems is hard and getting the Pirate heroes is a lot easier if you have gems. I probably spent $10 and completed all 67 challenges. There are even some puzzle boards in each stage which downplay the combat and focus more on finger dexterity. I’ve had this game for months and still haven’t even tried to beat all of those. My only big beef was not having a satisfying ending. I mean, you beat the 20 stages, you defeat all 67 challenges, you should get a reward of 200 gems or a cut scene of the heroes winning or something.
