Reminders: To Do List & Widget

Downloaded without hesitation after seeing it shared on reddit forums as it is exactly what I needed to fill the gap between Calendar and Reminders. With this app, I can finally fully shift away from third party task planning apps to using Apple Native Apps for my scheduling and productivity. Suggestion for developer to consider: more granularity in selecting lists to sync with calendar, and syncing different lists to different calendars. Or allowing only selected lists in reminders to sync in calendar, and allowing sync to specific existing calendars. E.g. User can choose to sync “To-Do” in Reminders to a chosen calendar “To-Do”. Right now, all lists in reminders are synced to an automatically created calendar “Reminders” if the reminder has specified a date and time and does not have the $nocal keyword.

A waste of five dollars

It’s a very nifty app for sure. I was hoping it would transfer reminders to my calendar as check-able tasks, but it apparently converts them to calendar events. So I still have to go into the reminders app to complete it.

Great app, no issues, very simple to get working, does exactly what it says.

This is a great app. It drives me crazy that iCal and iReminders don’t sync. This handy, simple app connects the two and on your device! No cloud needed. I’m so happy I could cry! Thank you!

I like the idea of this app. I have been trying to find a good app for combining reminders and calendars to make planning my days easier. It appears that you cannot change the name of the Calendar it creates. You are stuck with "Reminders". It would be great if you could assign task lists to specified Calendars to separete things like work and personal. Also, the entries always show up as 30 minutes. If I change the calendar entry to something else, like an hour, it just gets set back to 30 mins on the next sync. I wiil keep on eye on this and see if it improves. For not I have uninstalled it.
