Remmel for Lemmy

Using a own instance url is not working. I can just enter an url. It is not possible to go on.

Gut, aber könnte noch Verbesserungen am Interface gebrauchen

I go to add my instance of choice (lemmy.world) and it displays a loading spinner for a few seconds but “Add” button stays disabled. I tried with the instance it defaults too as well, lemmy.ml. Nothing I tried worked. All forms of the url, I even appended port numbers to the end in an effort to fix it. Bottom line, client does not work and I can’t even get past the “add instance” screen. Amazing app if you want to stare at a dialog box that doesn’t work for an hour, not so much if you want to actually brows Lemmy.

The update fixed many of the bugs

i give my credentials and it hangs. don’t try signing up using this either because i noticed it skipped the CAPTCHA step, though this may only apply to the “main” lemmy.ml instance, unsure if other instances even have this step.

I enter a URL for an instance, hit enter, and nothing happens. Effectively a useless app if I can’t view any instances. Sad because I’d really like to be able to use Lemmy more.

The UI is well thought out and makes it easy to interact with communities on Lemmy instances. Go Fediverse!

Half the time it works great, half the time it doesn’t load anything. Internet connection isn’t the issue.
