Remote Legacy

It is not usable... Shame.

Hi, I am using filmic pro together with the remote app. It would be great if the remote app would have the option to change the size of the font on the time and maybe better contrast. If I place my ipad in a distance it is hard to read the time. That is the only thing. Otherwise you app is really awesome. Lenka

Hi, I love FilmicPro and use it to record videos. Recently decided to purchase Filmic Remote app so that I can control FilnicPro on my iPhone X from my old iPhone 7+ while recording myself. Unfortunately it doesn’t work too good, the latency is huge and the picture so pixelated I can barely see what´s happening on the screen. Dores anybody have any experience with this? Could it be that the iPhone 7+ is too old? Anyways good luck to Filmic and hopefully things will work out sooner or later. Jindra

I can’t support a company that secretly rips off their customers. I paid for remote and suddenly it’s completely gone. I will report the actions for fraudulent actions

I paid for both the app and remote. Now I can no longer use the remote unless I pay for a subscription. Total ripoff, total scam. Will never support.

It is locked in the horizontal orientation, so vertical video is displayed within a massive letterbox. Please add vertical orientation support!!

Purchased V6 before August 2022. Haven’t used app recently. Creator disabled original app. When I download legacy version of app it shows a message that I can access the legacy version, under SETTINGS -> INFO of the new V7 app. There is no DOWNLOAD LEGACY APP option under INFO. Apple should police abusive scams like this. I don’t need a subscription for an app that I rarely use. Read the user agreement. It is scary!

Didn’t like the app it’s laggy and not useful wish I could refund it i downloaded and paid for it to see what it does literally took 5 mins to see It wasn’t useful.

Have no idea if it’s any good or not, because I can’t get it to open or synch my iPhone to my iPad.

Used this for controlling an iPhone 14 placed on a mic stand above a piano keyboard. Able to start and end record function and monitor operation for over an hour. App was running on an iPad Pro 12 inch (2019). Sure beats climbing up on a ladder. Yes there is a lag on the iPad monitor but the iPhone video is pristine. Even with lag I can see pianist’s hands and confirm a good result. Very pleased.
