Replit

I use Replit on my iPad to study and program with. I love the whole idea and application, makes it really easy to switch between iPad and pc! Since the last update it isn’t stable anymore, it crashes whenever I open replit links from school, doesn’t make it possible to continue with my study using Replit (at least on iPad), hope this get fixed soon!

Feels not stable yet for development. Also needs more QoL features

Very cool that Replit has iPad support now! Supporting split views and/or multiple windows would make it even better, so I can develop some JavaScript with a browser preview side-by-side, for example!

I really like this app it lets you code anything you want!! Also you can code online with your friends

I’ve used the replit site for a while now and recently saw that this app existed. I only wanted to edit some code and the autocorrect worked pretty good. But from what I’ve seen there’s no library compatibility in the autocorrect bar. Second I downloaded it on my iPad but it opens like a phone app instead of an iPad app. I can’t wait for an update to get iPad compatibility and then the app is exactly how it should be. edit: thank you for adding iPad compatibility, the only thing we need is library compatibility for the autocorrect bar and it’s perfect

Tot nu toe gebruikte ik de replit website voor mijn coderen op de ipad. Maar nu is er ook de app en die werkt prima op de ipad. Ben er blij mee. Soms blijft wel het scrollen hangen waardoor ik de app helemaal opnieuw op moet starten. Ben er nog niet uit waarom dat gebeurt. Misschien een bug.

I’ve tried to love Replit, I really have… I’ve fallen back into the trap like 3 times whenever a new subscription discount comes out. But it’s time for me to finally admit that it’s trash. I feel like the AI is actually regressing at this point, and the pricing structure is a cash grab. You are SO much better off spending your money on Cursor or Windsurf. Actually, I think you’d spend less, AND you’d get a usable product.
