Resampler is a creativity inducing bitcrusher packed with audio algorithms stretched past their limits. Multiple flavors of sample rate reduction and quantization provide endless possibilities for sonic mayhem. There is complex math going on, but Resampler gives you plenty of options without getting bogged down in technical details. By trying a few different settings and tweaking the knobs, you will be creating cool bit crushing effects in no time. Resampler brings flexible bit crushing to your favorite iOS DAW.
Resampler is an Audio Unit Extension (AUv3) that works inside host apps. Just open up your favorite host that supports Audio Units and add it as an effect. Compatible with GarageBand, Cubasis, Auria, BeatMaker, AudioBus, AUM, Modstep, and more.

I wanted a free bitcrusher for CUBASIS 3, this is the first that appeared on my search. Lovely (nasty) distortion sounds out of the box. I’m going to nab all of your other effects now 😊 Thank you so much developers! THIS IS AN EFFECT, IT WORKS INSIDE A DAW.

Confusing

I’ve downloaded and redownloaded this app and i can’t figure out how to use the bitcrusher. I have read through the pages, but the entire app seems to be a guide to use a bitcrusher that doesn’t even exist.

Folks don't understand AuV3

I was inspired to check this out by a GSG strategies card (take something pretty and bitcrush it). Well I took the Viking synth with the FX - droplets preset and bitcrush Ed it (in the AUM mixer which is a must have for AuV3 audio units like this). And I'm so glad that I did. Don't let an app's 3 star rating throw you off. If you take the time to understand this, you will not be disappointed
