Retrica: Vintage Camera Studio

This is exactly the kind of app I have been looking for a while. The filters are high quality and the app is easy to use and virtually ad free. There’s lots of free filters to choose from and very usable without the premium subscription. I don’t personally like the look of the oversaturated photos that iPhones normally have, this makes me love my camera again! Only things I would suggest for improvement would be the ability to take portrait shots and cinematic video. If this would be possible it would likely replace the stock camera app for most of my needs

This has been my go to app for years! Absolutely worth the subscription fee until this last update. There's nothing left worth saving! Subscription cancelled.

I recently uploaded but immediately deleted after I was promted in initial setup that I could only use the app if I gave the app permissions access all of my photos. Tried starting with no permissions —nope prompted…then tried with only selected photos—nope prompted…then gave permissions to all photos—yep that works but yeah not ok with an app having access to everything so deleted app.

Plenty to work with in the free download. Top 5 point and shoot apps 4 the iPhone. Focus on color and enhancing vintage filters. All have a retro feel. You’ll need to download a B&W app to accompany this one. Which I did. So I’m pretty happy with this setup.

I have tried, and paid twice to renew my subscription. It takes my money. Then in the app when I go to restore purchase it just whirls. I have messaged and got no reply. I have deleted the subscription now. This app used to be my favourite but I have given up with it now.

Absolutely an awesome app

Have used for years but like everyone else I’m sick of the subscription heavy sell pop up after each photo taken. Great photo filters. Rubbish business model. Practically unusable. If you’re thinking of trying it don’t bother. Too annoying

This app is perfect and balanced but some of the filters from older edition were better.. Why they disappear ?

This app has become so sneaky with how it wants you to pay for a premium subscription. After you take a photo it will prompt you, and sometimes it even brings up Apple Pay, to ask you to subscribe. It’s fine to use, and was my go to app, but if you’re using the free version be wary of it asking you for money.

I know the app has recently changed to paid / subscription … is this the reason why that photos no longer save and after taking 1 photo there’s the pop up message re subscription? Such a shame as this was my go to app. Will the photos save if I choose to subscribe?
