this app has so much potential. it’s the best combination of ig stories and bereal, and is what social media should be - sharing snippets of your life with your close friends. now I just gotta get my friends to download it 😅

Enjoying this app’s simple interface and inviting premise. I really hope this catches on!

Cool idea but the UI is kinda boring and I probably won’t end up using it because I may as well stick with my other 5 social medias I already have

I asked their social media person a simple question all week and was ignored while that person continuously answered others and engaged in posts not related to the app. Moreover, the app starts the week with Monday and not Sunday! That’s a huge error! The first day of the week is Sunday, not Monday. Please change this.

Retro is a throwback to the days of the original social networks. The promise of sharing freely with your friends and family and nothing else. The desire to share with close friends has not changed but the platforms have moved on. Retro brings back those delightful moments. Loving it so far. Make sure you invite your friends in order for the app to shine.

Beautifully made. Also kinda of like the best from Instagram and BeReal. Quick viewing - strories ui for albums. Very private - only your friends can access. Fun, encourages connection on a private level - you need to share a week to see a friends week.

I am breaking my addiction to Instagram and Facebook, and this is so much better than those platforms because it lets me click on pictures quickly and not feel like they need to be edited or filtered. It feels like a lot less pressure, but I still get to share pictures of my life!

Congrats to the Retro team. This is the app we’ve been waiting for. It took me <10 mins to upload pictures for this whole year and I enjoyed the process. Sending all the positive vibes I can that this takes off. I’ll be telling all my friends.

Retro is really fun to use and I love that I can choose my own personal icon for the app. It motivates me to document my life more so I can fill in all the weeks, it’s like a game!
