Revel by Pearson

Doesn’t save your highlighting, can’t download it as a PDF.. just not good at all!

Unable to access half the readings/assignments needed to pass my course using Revel on my Mac using both chrome and safari. The app is no better. For $60 (that provides no physical book you can keep or resell) the service is woeful. I would never use this if Pearson hadn’t clearly gotten into a deal with my university that I’m sure provides a sweet kickback for them. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I can’t see the book chapters that I am required to read for class. I am not happy about this and am now having to do it from a school computer or from my computer at home.

Every time I use revel, I get mad. This software is always faulty. I can't remember how many times I lost my notes! I even have to wait for 20 seconds to take notes! If I hadn't been required to use Revel, I wouldn't have touched this inefficient software again! I don't know why every update will make revel more inefficient. I beg you not to update Revel, OK? Let me pass this semester smoothly.

With the amount of money spent on books with these companies, this app has got to be one of the worst ones out there with the ability to use college textbooks. The audio function still does not work correctly! Navigation works only in landscape on iPad. I’ve never had anxiety reading until it came to this app/company! Fire yourselves.

The way I contacted the Pearson support team nearly 3 weeks ago, and it took them 2 whole weeks to release an update for the app just to still crash is embarrassing. These people obviously ain’t being paid enough. Pearson is a joke that writes itself.

App keeps crashing and can’t get my assignments done

I wasn’t able to complete my assigned work in time because the same chapter continued to crash and I wasn’t able to access the textbook from a computer at that time. If I knew the app would’ve been unreliable and altered my grade, I would’ve planned to complete my assigned work ahead of time when I did have access to the textbook on the computer.

The app lets me read and listen to audio text, but it crashes when I try to do quizzes no matter what I do

The app is a great idea and has a modern user interface, but all of that is completely worthless when the app crashes to the Home Screen AND loses your spot in the reading. I can’t do any work from this app, making it completely worthless. I have better luck going to the revel website in Safari.
