The web version of the app makes planning a twisty route pretty easy you can set it to curvy roads and then Just click to adjust the route exactly where you want it. The phone app has also recently improved its on the fly route planning. It needs two big improvements to be a 5 star app. 1. Curvy routing turn by turn has a 25 point limit. That is way to low for anyone doing even a day ride. You end up having to break your ride into several Segments. 2. I have. CHIGEE unit and use CarPlay on the bike. Revers CarPlay integration needs work. I’ll leave it at that. Overall good app for what you pay. $20-$40 a year. Lots of reviews complaining that you have to pay to get the good features. Of course you do, I don’t work for free and neither to the developers.

You can’t use the full feature set of the app on CarPlay. If you start a twisty route on your iPhone it won’t display on your CarPlay device. You can open the app and start a route but it takes the most direct route without having the access to app capabilities. The market for CarPlay AA devices is heating up so REVER needs to get on board.

All I have heard from other riders is the poor and unpredictable functionality. But the App reviews on the App Store are good. I tried the free trial of Pro. I don’t have a GPS system, I use my phone. I was on a ride, the route was created in Rever by one of our club members. The app kept routing me back to the starting point never recognizing the starting point, I had the route mostly memorized so headed out and for the next four hours continuously tried to route me back to the starting point. At my gas stop I stopped it, exited out. Tried entering in the next four points. It routed from my first selected point to my “Current Location” then the other two points. I couldn’t get it to route from my “Current Location” to the first point. At the meeting point after the ride, every single rider had problems, not recognizing the start point, not recognizing way points, not down loading into GPS systems etc. Not a single rider had a good experience. My experience is, even as deficient as it is, Google maps is superior and its free. I will continue to rely on reading a map and committing to memory, like I have done for 30 and using a map app in a pinch or find a place to eat when I arrive at my destination.

Great app for designing your own motorcycle routes. Can download GPX files onto the app for navigation on well known routes. Only gave 4 stars because the navigation itself could be more refined, but not terrible.

I pay for the subscription. Little bummed they raised the price by nearly 2x, but the 3D thing is cool. All the “social stuff” is lame. What it really just needs are shortcut hook to let you start / end recording a trip via automations. If they would just add in shortcuts it would make it far easier to make sure all my trips are recorded. Please add this standard iOS feature. Thanks!

This app is amazing. It really helps increase your writing and enjoyment if you do any amount of writing at all absolutely recommend.

Compared to a dedicated motorcycle GPS this software is expensive junk. CarPlay implementation is pathetic. Routing is dangerously wrong and stupid.

Record rides with ease. And save em and share them. Very easy on that end. Planning a ride is like other apps once you know how to use the app. It’s a great tool to use!

There’s nothing available for free everything requires a sub

Recently bought the pro version since there aren’t great rides in my area, and I wanted to use the twisty road feature. Created some rides, and decided to try one out. Literally one deviation off of the path, and an incessant beeping for rerouting begins. Even when I got myself back on track (it won’t give you directions back to the route, just beeps at you CONSTANTLY), it wouldn’t accept where I got back on the route and insisted that I do a U-turn to pick up *exactly* where I left off. The turn by turn directions are okay, but it doesn’t tell you how long until you’re supposed to turn - and also told me to turn multiple times after I had already completed the turn. I eventually gave up after having to stop 4 times on my ride to recreate it for it to stop beeping at me, and turned it off. Proceeded to just get lost on my own and had a much better time. Would not recommend the ride creation feature.
