Rhythm SYNC.

As I own a Rhythm 2+ The app is just for firmware updates, and hey presto it works :) I previously owned the original Rhythm and it’s still working and accurate after 7 years of use. Recently upgraded to the Rhythm 2+ for the 24hr battery life improvements. Would recommend to anyone wanting an accurate, reliable, long lasting arm based HR sensor.

Workout recordings exported as csv files use the default heart rate zones and cannot be changed to report your customised zones. So if you want to see your customised hr zones you need software to analyse fit files.

Connecting to other apps is hit and miss. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. Just trying to delete the connection to Apple Health. Unlike the other apps it can connect to, it couldn’t be deleted. Shame as the Rythmn itself is very good, but the app is a real bummer!

Whilst the app allows HRM to sync, it does not allow updates of firmware, or other details within the menu.

Battery level now constantly reads zero. Knowing when my battery was getting low was really the only reason to use this app over others. Time to delete!

Although the monitor seems to be working fine the app makes the experience totally worthless. The user experience and functionality are very poor. App requires some serious intervention/upgrade. Returned my monitor the same day.

The app used to 'remember' the last mode/setting of the HRM, such as HRV or Heart Rate Only. Since the last update, this is not the case. The app defaults to Heart-Rate only every time I sync my HRM 24.... UPDATE: Can't believe that after so many months, this hasn't been fixed yet. This absolutely affects daily use. You're entirely dependant on the app!

I used it to update the firmware and to see what the battery level is so does everything I need. For actual HR monitoring I connect it to my watch

Tricky to connect even when iPhone connects immediately. Finally when you do connect to the app it loses the connection whilst you exercise. The App is useless. Not acceptable when hardware is so expensive. Hope others speak frankly too.

Only setting available is running. Can’t set device to HR only, etc. Hardware is OK, but app is a waste of time
