Puzzles are frustrating as heck. You’ll have an idea of what to do but will probably only get there through luck. Controls are so touchy that even when you’re doing the right thing it will take several tries. The hints are useless. A shame, because the graphics and the premise are solid. For the developers: offer a bypass feature for at least some of the puzzles. The Rubik's cube is a perfect example. Challenging to begin with and made even tougher by the crummy controls. We’ll enjoy the game more if it’s actually winable.
It was great until I hit a glitch and had to delete it in the middle of the game.
I know how that sounds; it’s not an expensive game. But it’s so unintuitive. I only got just past the paywall and it’s anyone’s guess what the next puzzle is asking for. You wait 2 or 3 minutes for the next hint to unlock, and it tells you what you already know. Then you wait again, and it tells you something cryptic and unhelpful. I’ve yet to enjoy my time playing. I’m a big fan of The Room and House of Da Vinci series and rarely needed hints on those. But now I’m stuck unless I go to a walkthrough. No real story to speak of either. Wish I hadn’t bought this game.
the hints are useless, puzzles get glitched, awful app.
For a game you have to pay for and all the so called bug fixes done years ago , I can’t get anything to work , it’s visually appealing but puzzle are 🙁, please fix this problem or don’t charge to play
I am the first to admit that something you put time into you should get paid for but DO NOT advertise a free app and then try to force someone to pay for it midway through the start…. Removed and will not return to this publisher unless they advertise correctly
Get ready to be frustrated. Five minutes in I encountered an impassable bug that renders you unable to continue playing. POINTLESS. Read other reviews and save your money, please. I thankfully hit one quickly, so I was able to stop before I invested too much time, but others have hit them much later. Terrible.
This might be a good game. Not sure though because the have a Rubik’s cube in it and I’m incapable of solving those. Trust me, I’ve tried. Spent 6 hours trying to solve this one. Nope.
I wanted to love this game. For the first chapter, everything was good. I liked the puzzles and they were a good brain exercise. After that, not so much. The controls are just awful. The clear cylinder puzzle, I know what I needed to do but every time I swiped my finger a different segment would move than the one I wanted. Luckily there’s a skip option but if the developers know the puzzle is so bad, it needs a skip option, then it probably shouldn’t be there. There were times I knew the answer to a puzzle but when I put a piece of something on the correct thing, it wouldn’t do anything so I thought it was wrong only to later figure out it was right, but I wasn’t able to do so due to not placing the object in the tiny exact spot it needed to be in. The last area with the rainbow puzzles require very little thought other than “how do I make the game recognize my finger movement.”
