This is literally the only app that has really helped me to learn kanji. I use it everyday.

Loving this app. It’s so flexible and effective. I used it to successfully learn to write katakana and hirigana with JLPT settings and now have moved on to learning the kanji with Wanikani integration. Love that I can jump back and forth between systems (jlpt, wanikani, etc) and not lose my place in the srs progression for each system. Love the way it teaches writing by slowly fading out the cues. Probably around 15 hours into using this after learning Hiragana on other apps. This app is so customizable, its awesome. I was really looking for something to not only teach me Kanji but also how to write them in the appropriate stroke order. I felt other language learning tools were not making me recall things correctly, i had too many context clues and was cheating myself out of truly learning the material. The spaced repetition also feels perfect, it dings you for errors but you can override it if you just accidentally swiped or were interrupted. I also like that if I am in a hurry I can just review outstandingly items instead of being forced to learn and review.

this all is amazing i would recommend it to all japanese learners it has so much kanji it teaches you hirigana and katakana and this is all for free!! and it is a great way to memorize the characters. i really recommend this app.

This app ha served me so much. I never thought I would be able to conquer kanji. I can now live out my true weeaboo fantasies with this app. I will go to Japan watch anime eat sushi everyday now. I will talk with every Japanese person, I’m so happy. Ate this up.

I love that this app teaches me stroke order to learn Kanji because I think a lot of learners skip how important it is to write using proper stroke order.

I have been studying Japanese on and off my entire life and this is the best system I’ve come across yet for committing kanji to memory. I’m also mastering stroke order, some thing I’ve never been able to fully commit to memory until now, and the touchpad system for tracing the strokes are translating nicely into writing the Kanji more beautifully on paper with a calligraphy pen. I’m so happy this is free
