Rise of Castles: Fire and War

Servers overrun by 10-14 year olds demanding the use of 3rd party app’s & personal emails. iOS needs to shut the fraud down. BE VERY CAREFUL WHO YOU SAY ANYTHING TO & DO NOT FOLLOW THE LINKS YOU GET SENT IN PM’s FROM “Leaders”; as ONE PERSON tends to run EVERY alliance in EACH SERVER. That’s foreign nationals committing fraud in the US via this game and 3rd party apps in Iranian, Russian, Turkish & China.

I got through the initial set up and then started to try and advance everything. Leveling up my castle to level 5 or 6 froze it so now when I open the app it’s just grey clouds. Can’t even play the game anymore.

I feel like the game would be more interesting if it had empires like the Roman Empire, ancient Egypt, all those kind of empires with their own boost’s and benefits as soon as you start the game and maybe even even Ancient Greece and each one looks like what they would actually look like Just in your own style

It’s all the worst parts of age of empires with no upside

It was fun; especially when you join a good alliance and have supporting players. But be ready to spend even if you just want to have a chance to be active in battles and team strategy. Thousands if you want to be a top tier player.

This game promises to be like the old game but is nothing like it.

For needing the internet to play this game, it still takes over “9 GB” of memory storage. The graphics are not that great. After I was looking at what was taking up so much space, this by far was the worst offender. A quick delete after so wrote this review

At very least you must spend 500 a month to be competitive and to be a winner in this game. I have played this game for 4 years and I am finally hanging it up. I can not keep up in this game without spending big money. I’m quitting the game and I don’t like it but I’m wasting my time. I’ve faithfully stayed on the game daily to maximize as much as I could through slow and steady growing but it wasn’t enough and will never be enough. Started out with the FOX alliance and I’m quitting while in the SHH alliance. Again so and steady growth and just playing with what the game gives you will NEVER be enough. Over and out.

The game is great, but it is completely rigged in favor of Chinese players, because they have a totally different economic model that allows them to obtain all the best gear at a fraction of the cost to players everywhere else in the world. The developers have done an incredible job using heuristics to condition you to become addicted to the game and will milk you of as much money as they can. All the while they will change game mechanics without notifying players and provide really poor support when things don’t work. Save yourself the frustration and play a different game.

I play this game and genuinely enjoy it. However I was charged for a purchase I had not made through Apple. I double checked my purchase history on the app and there was nothing showing the purchase. I went through the report a problem and the purchase was refunded. Now I cannot log in to my account at all and there is no customer service to reach besides where it send me to Apple to report a problem. Now I’m in an endless loop and cannot access the app.
