Can’t export via email
The ability to export my daily log to my therapist via email isn’t working anymore. I managed to do 1 week and now it’s has stopped working. This is a huge inconvenience. I will now have to stick to papers for fear of losing all my data :(
Keep track of food without calories
The best feature of this app is that you can just write down what you're eating without seeing the calorific content of each meal - it's one less thing for me to obsess over and means I can't punish myself if I've eaten too many calories (I binge eat and then sometimes restrict). The reminders are also really useful in promoting regular eating patterns - it's easy to tell that this has been created by someone who has suffered from an ED! Well worth the money for helping you to structure new routines and reflect on how each meal is going, and you can fill it in as much or as little as
you want - all these little nods to giving you control is fantastic :)
Looks great but maybe not for me
Was hoping I could easily add physical symptoms such as headache, muscle aches, tummy aches, light headedness etc so I can use to track my Crohns but currently appears limited to emotions.

This is such a lovely and helpful app - so easy to track meals and then export that to see the record of your whole day. I’m absolutely loving the positive affirmations you see every time you open/do something in the app! Thanks so much for creating this :)
Such a helpful app, just one little bug
I love this app and I am finding it really helpful to use in conjunction with the book overcoming binge-eating. The ability to log emotions, place and thoughts with meals is helping me identify when I am most susceptible to binge.
My only problem with the app is despite setting the reminders to check in on the app, I do not receive a notification on my phone.

Finding it the most useful thing out there for monitoring food intake with emotions.
A lifesaver
It’s hard to explain how, but logging meals, emotions and the time and location you eat at really does help provide much more structure after years of battling an eating disorder. You’re not counting calories, but spitting patterns and gaining a place to vent went times are tough. The advice and motivational messages are fantastic (if a little cheesy and arguably too tailored to women), and the interface is clean and unfussy. This is an essential tool I have used alongside my NHS group therapy, and it acts as a well-designed and discreet alternative to taking a notebook with you to log meals.
Easy to use and really useful
Great App. Does exactly what I need. Is versatile enough to record the information i need in a quick simple way. And the ability to email daily/weekly record is great.

The perfect tool for non-calorie food tracking
I love this app! As I began recovering from a mix of binge eating and disordered eating I knew I needed to track what I was eating and my emotions at the time. I would track for a day or so and then fall out of the habit. As someone who runs her life on apps I knew if I could find the right one I'd find it so much easier. I've learned through therapy that for me diets are the devil and that I cannot be on a diet and feel emotionally stable. Finding all the usually food tracking apps were obsessed with calorie counting and weight loss, the one thing I needed to avoid! Rise Up was mentioned in a forum and when I looked it up I burst into tears in relief. It's wonderful, tracking all the things I need to and none of those that would be damaging for me. It's really easy to use and they seem to have thought of everything. I also recommend the Recovery Warriors podcast for others' stories and feeling less alone in this.
The absolute best - my dietitian loves it!
I'm almost a year into AN recovery. Used this app to help start eating properly to begin with and then again to control the difficult periods of overeating that can happen during recovery.
It's brilliant that you can export your meal log as a PDF so it can be shared with professionals or sometimes I would print mine just to look at and be proud of how far I'd come.
I love the quotes that came after logging every meal to.
The app is really simple to use and you can tell it's been designed with insight and passion.
My dietitian has gone on to recommend it to other people after I showed it to her!
I've now moved away from using it to try and normalise eating without having to log it in a negative or positive way, as I did pre-recovery and during the initial stages of recovery; but I would recommend it to anyone struggling to regulate their eating. Definitely applicable for anyone with AN, BN, OSFED, BED...given the way you can record your thoughts and feelings at the time of eating as well as noting any disordered behaviour that may have occurred at the same time.
Even more so than the app however I'd recommend Jessica Raymond's (the app creator) Recovery Warriors podcast which has been one of the biggest parts of my on going recovery.
