I’m planning a trip. How do I plan ahead as the app only gives me information about my present location? Is there a way to plan ahead ?

Tried it for a couple of months. No special events published. Some of the venues are in the wrong categories. Locations are in metres instead of yards. Sorry to say that there are much better apps out there. I have deleted my account as I’m not impressed. 25/07/2022 Downloaded the app after getting an email after at least a year of not having this app. Developer mentioned updates to it. Seems to be more listings. A lot of duplicates in in different categories. Can’t see the discounts that people mentioned in their reviews. Deleted my account as I’m not impressed.

I’m not sure where all the positive reviews are coming from. A great experience is down to 2 things; 1) great data and 2) great usability. The data is shocking bad. When looking for nightclubs in my local area I was told there was one not far, which was actually an adult care facility. Then the app itself isn’t very useable by modern standards and very buggy with no option to report bad data. I’ve deleted it and moved back to the more established apps/websites (that also don’t require just as much tracking)

It would be good to have it in miles rather than in K to use in the UK. At least to be able to set either.

I absolutely LOVE this app. Me and a couple friends went to Thailand. A friend recommended this app, and I used it everyday. From restaurants, to bars, it helped us find places so easy. Whilst travelling it can be abit daunting at times but the find friends feature on this app put our minds at ease. THANK YOU ROAM. 🙌🏼

This is a brilliant app and so useful its a must for everyone.

A friend pushed me towards this and I haven’t looked back since. I travel for work and cycle a lot socially so I’m always on the look out for a local spot. Having often been disappointed by google reviews, roam has been a god send in giving me a local insight into where to eat, drink and be merry. The fact you get discounts is a bonus! I hope more people get behind the app and help the local high street flourish.

Go Roam has been really useful. Not only does it tell me what’s what, what's where and what's happening it is a real safety thing. We use it all the time when out as a group.

I first used this app when on holiday in the Peak District, very easy to use and you can find bars, restaurants and lots of other local amenities. We especially used it to find car parks and take aways! I use it regularly now.
