Poor quality content
Seems they have mass-imported coffee related businesses without any quality control. Several ”coffee shops” are in fact roasters only and do not sell coffee to individuals. I like the idea of the app and tried to use it on my trip through Europe, but I ended up combining simple Google searches and Google Maps for each city instead as this app could not be trusted. Also, there are 0 reviews on most of the content which indicates they have simply mass-imported a list. This app goes into the bin.

Great coffee shop app!
Great app for finding, logging, & keeping lists/notes of coffee shops. Owners of shops love it too and don’t feel it is a money grab like other similar apps - this app feels personal, designed and made by true coffee lovers! I paid for pro version and love the ability to save my visits and add private notes - it’s becoming a digital coffee journal for me!

A barista friend turned me onto this app, and it’s been immensely helpful for crowdsourcing coffee shops while traveling.
I generally don’t review apps, but I very much want this app to succeed!
Essential travel app
Love this concept. I travel full time and have a serious passion for specialty coffee. So this app helps me locate coffee in each city I visit.
However, my biggest frustration is the selection. I’m not sure how they determine whether to include a cafe or not. The definition of specialty coffee seems blurry. Too many listings where coffee is secondary to food.
Too many times I’ve visited a listing hoping for pour over coffee and find only batch brew, or worse only milk coffees.
Would be great to have some transparency on their selection process.
To finish on a high note, I really love that I can save visits. It’s like a little coffee journal. Probably my favorite feature.

Found Great Coffeehouse on My Road-trip
While at dinner in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA this week, I sat wondering where I would get my specialty coffee tomorrow morning! I paused, then realized Roasters.app will have the answer for me. Voila! Two blocks from my hotel was Mohala Roasters. I had my answer and could not wait to wake up to try a new cold brew at Mohala!
