Rogue with the Dead is an original roguelike RPG where you command and power up troops on an endless, looping journey.
What kills you makes you stronger.
An innovative game from room6, the team that has brought you such successes as Unreal Life and Gen’ei AP.
◆Defeat the Demon Lord
Your mission is to lead an envoy of soldiers for 300 miles, in order to defeat the Demon Lord at the end.
Completing quests and killing monsters will earn you coins that you can use to make your troops stronger.
They fight automatically, and you can choose to either wait and watch them have at it or join the battle yourself.
Soldiers respawn after they’re killed, but you don’t. You’ll lose all soldiers, money, and items, except for artifacts, and you’ll have to start over.
To stand a chance against the powerful bosses impeding your progress, you’ll need to collect as many artifacts as you can. Defeating them, in turn, will grant you more artifacts.

At first, you’ll deal 10 or 100 points of damage. As you progress with the upgrades, the numbers will grow in the millions, billions, trillions... Enjoy the exponential growth of your power.

Swordsman
A basic warrior unit with high health who fights on the front line to protect other soldiers.
Ranger
An archer that can attack from afar. However, it is slower and has less health than warriors.
Pigmy
A tiny warrior with low health and weak attack, but very fast movement. It can quickly sneak close to enemies to attack them directly.
Sorcerer
A magician that deals high damage to enemies within an area. However, it is slow and rather fragile.

・Increase attack by 50%
・Protect magicians from 1 attack
・Increase all coins earned by 50%
・1% of all soldiers' attack is added to the tap attack
・Soldiers have a 1% probability of spawning at giant size

◆If you’re tired, just idle
If you want to take a break, just close the game. Quests will still continue even while you’re not playing the game. When you come back, you’ll have more coins to power up your soldiers and defeat that boss that has been giving you trouble.
You can play for a few minutes at a time, so it’s perfect to fill in those little pockets of time throughout the day.

Ads are not horrible
The gameplay loop is pretty fun and it scales pretty well without soending money. Almost all the ads are behind bonuses and you can play the game mostly adfree. Really appreciate this setup. Fun game overall!

one of the most enjoyable idle experiences I’ve had. It’s definitely not too f2p at all, but I ended up buying the remove ads pack to support the devs. Seriously good work team !
Decently fun game if you don’t mind all the ads
It’s a very well made idle game with good progression, a little bit of story to give you a goal, and a fair bit of charm It uses every micro transaction trick in the book (battle pass, limited time “value” packs, 2x game speed locked behind paywall and free 24 hour trials to get you used to them before charging you, multiple currencies, daily roulette spin, watchable ads, etc.) Most of them aren’t that bad honestly, game’s gotta make money somehow. Unfortunately the frequency of ads made me uninstall. It was fun to play but there’s an option to watch ads for just about everything in the game. You can skip them of course but some of them feel awful to skip. You can get 1 relic to make you stronger or 3 if you watch an ad. Watch an ad to revive yourself and continue a run. Most egregious of all, watch an ad to reroll the hiring gacha where you can’t choose to skip hiring a soldier if it’s not the one you wanted and you have a cap on how many you can hire. First thing I did was check how much it cost to remove ads. If it was $5-10, this game is well made enough that it could be worth that. But ad removal is locked behind a $30+ pack, maybe like $28 on discount. That’s too high for an idle game like this. Still, I stuck around and only gave up once the game gave me a free trial to try the game without ads and I realized how much better it felt to play without them. I really wish they had chosen to price the “remove ad” option lower and not tie it to such an expensive bundle.

Surprisingly good
I’m not a huge mobile games fan, but his game is better than some console and computer games I’ve played, it has a good story an a lot of things to do. All in all definitely a 15/10
How the game is
At first it took a little while to understand the game but soon after I realized the story is actually pretty interesting and I love the fact that the ads are never shoved into your face unless you want a cooldown or something that’s equal benefits for the player and devs/dev team honestly great game I love the idle money part too
Just get it already
Had the game for awhile now And ive not been bored once it is basically perfect
