Roku Mobile App - Roku Remote

The app works as it should, it is convenient. Not a five star because the app keeps asking me to write a review every 5 seconds.

I just installed the app and opened it and I immediately got the "How are you enjoying the app " definitely laughed out loud!😂

I just downloaded and paid $19 for the “premium” version of the app and realized that it doesn’t provide any additional functionality than the basic Roku remote, no volume control, no direct channel number input, etc. I am going to request a refund.

Come on now. That’s the only reason I downloaded the app, and all the other knockoffs I got free trials with. Seriously, yall should take care of that. I might even try more of them to see if they have the headphone feature. I just downloaded the app today, June 11, 2025, and there is no headphone feature.

Have to pay to use features. The only free feature was adjusting the volume.

I used to use this remote a lot but now it does not respond to either Roku on any iOS device Update: It took a while to resolve the issue but it turned out to be a Roku issue rather than an app issue which once discovered by the app developer and reported to me it works great again.

It simply did not work on my Roku smart TV

i'm pretty sure it's a good app but for me it's useless because you need to have WiFi connected to both TV and phone. I don't have WiFi so I can't use this app. I don't think you should need WiFi for a remote.
