Could not draw curved lines in free ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO EXIT ON IPAD HAD TO OPEN NOTIFICATION SCREEN AND ENTER ANOTHER APP TO GET OUT OF SKETCHER ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! NOT EVEN ONE STAR!!

I find Room Sketcher is a great tool however some things are not intuitive and take some time to get used to on how to use them. That is a frustrating thing.

I have experience in multiple cad programs this is a program that rivals the performance of the 46th president

I just want to be able to make a rregular line drawing and adjust it for scale i.e. draw a floor plan and adjust it. I don’t want decorator functions just to be able to draw it out. That’s the one thing I haven’t figured out. I’ve got a rectangle that’s it. I cannot find how to modify it. I cannot even find the drawing tool. I’ll grant I may be too dumb but that’s why I hoped for this to help. I’m afraid I’m deleting it now. At least I know how to use pencil and paper and a ruler so, as they say, “Back to the drawing board.” Update 3/12/24: had new data so thought I’d try again . I could never sign in, no matter what I tried:changed password, saved password, etc. So I deleted it again. I sure get tired of spending all my time trying to use an app without obstacles or thins popping up interrupting the basic use for the app. It’s like buying a crowbar but when you go to pull a nail it requires passwords at his Pop up so you can’t see the nail. Update: I trie one more time but…I’m willing to subscribe monthly to see if I can get it to work but $119 annually when I can’t even start? Geez! Let AI buy these AI monstrosities. I thank the developer for offering help. I was hoping for something useful not to have to study something. Perhaps the designers of these apps are too young to understand how hand drawn design worked. I guess I can’t fault them for that.

I have to say, having never used any sort of drawing/ cad type app in my life, I find this app very intuitive and easy to use right out of the gate! For me, I’m utilizing it for my future bathroom renovation, and it has been so nice to be able to draw everything out, visualize my entire space, and have the ability to eventually present this to my contractor as a floor plan! Overall I’m very satisfied with this app and will use it for future projects!

I have no Architechal experience, but had a lot of fun using this app for a renovation. Much faster than drawing and re-drawing interior walls.

I can’t even view what I paid for in the pro version. It insists on a continued subscription just to view an already completed project. I should have the option to downgrade the subscription while continuing to view previous projects. This was a complete waste of money.

Overall the app has been great to create an initial layout for a new house we are going to build. It has helped my wife and I figure out key features we want and where we want them. As someone else stated it needs a copy/paste feature that would let you select items you have customized and copy them for use elsewhere in the design. Also it needs more exterior features like fish pond, waterfall, (ideally an infinity pool option for pools and more plant and tree options.

I’m no professional, and I will admit, using it on a tablet took some getting used to as opposed to using a mouse. That’s more of a tablet problem than an app problem. I like it a lot but with a few tweaks and adds it could be a lot better for visualization. It would be nice to import textures by using a picture of a particular wood grain, tile, or brick to give a more accurate representation of the materials inside the program, they could be scaled much like scaling a drawing of a floor plan. It would also be nice to choose particular paint colors by entering the Hex color codes. Could also use a pool option just to show where it would be placed in relation to the home especially if designing a courtyard. Would also like to be able to add a car in the garage and some garage tools and basic items that are common.

I’ve used this app for about 2 years. I paid $20 to upgrade my project for a year and love the 3D view option. It has really helped me visualize my floor plans and space plan with furniture/decorative items. I did have an issue where the program kept freezing/crashing and I got locked out of my project. I reached out to customer service and the issue was that I had too many floorplans (90+) in a single project. Customer service deleted several floorplans for me and I have been able to use the project again with no issues.
