This app is the best thing for a men’s physique competitor, too bad is so expensive to purchase. I cannot afford the payment but the app itself is godlike
Really love the RP content and approach - there's nothing better out there. But I found the app unworkable for basic life scenarios, like being able to enter a past meal if it didn't match the recommended macros. If I can't enter in past meals that were a little off my macros, then what do I do? Quit? No. In the end I decided to use a different app that will allow me to enter the meal and recalculate the macros I need to hit for the rest of the day.
It seems complicated at first but after the first week it becomes almost like a reflex. And the results ar as advertised.
I’ve used other apps in the past like Fitbit, MFP and others, tracked macros and calories as best as possible. I can say that this app is the best for me so far. Pros: - keeps you accountable - focuses on what is important, well designed - makes weekly adjustments based on your input and your weekly average weight - you can define your own recipes/meals/add foods etc. Cons: - not enough flexibility for number of meals and timing (designed more like for pros) - not enough flexibility when it comes to training day macros / rest day macros - I would prefer to have same day macros on both training and non-training days but have defined the number of training sessions. This would basically mean removing some carbs from training day and adding them to non training day, feels easier for adherence POV. - a bit pricey
I feel this app was created without much UX input. The ability to add food and update meals are not intuitive. I wonder if it is tested by someone who works out and tracks food regularly. A good app should not require users to think. I have to think and guess when using this app.
I went to rewrite my wake to sleep time for just one day and it applied it to every day and when I tried to fix it I couldn’t get back to where I was I had to end the entire diet and start over again
Decent app. Gotta look at your own specific food label to track macros properly. I wish there was some way to change macros for certain foods but as I type this I forgot you can just input foods yourself.
So far the app has helped me to fuel my workouts and lose sustainably. Otherwise, I always cut calories too drastically and destroy my workouts and motivation. Can't wait to see how the bulking phase goes.
I work a 12hr shift. I could not figure out how to copy a meal plan regarding timing of meals to save my life. That is frustrating considering the app cost.
