Grade School RTS
Can't really lose in the timed campaign mode (27 levels). Not much strategy or variation because enemies are stationary towers and the single factory has constant production rate and quantity. Cartoony (which I don't like). Cannot group select multiple units to send to attack specific targets. Can't deselect without selecting a different piece or location either. In other words, it uses modal selection (which is frustrating). Sound is either On or Off. Annoying voice-over when unit piece is produced makes me want to turn the Sound Off, but I would still like to hear the battle sounds to gauge how the battles are going, so I know what piece to produce next. 110 Megabytes of mostly wasted space on my iPad Air, so I must delete it. Should be much under 10 Megabytes for the 2D scrolling tiled background and simple sprite images. I am not interested in trying the PvP mode. Maybe that is where all the action is, and the reason for the large app size? In my opinion, the Unity 3D is wasteful overkill for a simple 2D app. I have to give it four stars because there is nothing really wrong with the game for its intended audience (which I guess is not for older people expecting more complexity). Not satisfying, or fun! Just a rote, by-the-numbers coloring book.
