To hear playback I had to record with earphones. Help and troubleshooting not great. With that said the app is great!

Simple to use and perfect aid in memorizing lines. Set up your script and practice it hands free in the car or anywhere else. Well worth the nominal subscription fee!

Helpful but was not easy to get the appropriate settings to practice leaving gaps for my lines.

Easy to use and works like a charm to help learn lines. Love the feature that gives you YOUR line as a reminder OR the option to silence your lines and only hear the other characters.

It was really good for helping memorize lines and cues the only downside is that you only get 10 free recordings but other than that I really like the app and the different settings that can help you memorize different things.

This app does what I always tried to do with my own tape recorder, but infinitely easier and better. Because I discovered this last spring, I was able to accept with confidence a role that I only had two weeks to rehearse (the original actress dropped out). Thanks app people!

This is an AMAZING APP! It helps you learn your lines at your own pace! It plays the line before yours and leaves a gap for you to say your line! It is such an amazing app! I also love how you get 10 RECORDINGS FREE before you pay for a subscription. You are probably thinking ‘Ten recordings? That’s barely ten scenes!’ Your wrong. Each recording can be up to 15 MINUTES LONG. If you do the math you can record for 150 minutes before you have to pay anything that’s more than 2 hours! It’s amazing! And if you want to go scene by scene, you can buy a 3 month subscription which is surprisingly cheap! I think it is definitely worth it because I love theater but most of my shows don’t go on for very long so the 3 month option is super exciting! Everything in the App Store info seems to indicate this is a free app. I got halfway into to recording my lines for the show I’m currently in and it prompted me with a message that I only had two more free recordings (I.e., scenes) and then I would have to buy a subscription, which felt deceptive and was enormously frustrating after the work and time I had put into recording my scenes up to that point. I’m not a pro with a business budget for this kind of thing. I do community theater once or twice a year. There should be a free version supported by ads or something as an option for amateur actors.

Almost amazing, but I keep having to renew my subscription every year. I do shows consistently and I wish I could pay 10 dollars for 5 years or something like that.

Good when it works, but you definitely can’t count on it to work— which is especially frustrating when it’s an app that you have paid for.
