Great app, very easy to good, good plan
I’ve used the free version of this app on and off, but I highly recommend subscribing. I learn a lot from the advice and real-time evaluations and I really look forward to my runs.
Very realistic and achievable goals set. I thought some of the early targets set were too easy but as time goes on I understand the need to build up distance and pace slowly. Looking forward to completing my first real marathon.
First time to use the app for Marathon training. Enjoying it so far. Love the flexibility and feedback. Keep up the good work!
Quite simply. There would be no hope of me completing my desired goal of completing a half marathon without the recommended running timetable set out by this app. I’m enjoying running for the first time.
Lockdown has led to a major need to replace my swimming so I’m running again after many years. Signing up to Hal’s app has given me the confidence to challenge myself knowing that he’s making sure I don’t overdo it and get an injury. I’ve run further than ever in the past couple of weeks with no problems. And I find I’m climbing those hills with a bounce in my step. 😀

I’ve used Run Keeper for years, tracking my casual attempt at running. Got serious about doing a half marathon and decided to try this app. Been trying to get a “plan” set up for a few days now and nothing is working. I did two runs with it during my “intro week” and am very disappointed there aren’t any audible alerts, gps mapping, and the workout doesn’t even import to Apple Health. It’s important for me that the runs sync to Apple health because I have other health apps that use that data. Runkeeper does these things great, so now I’m paying them for the half marathon training plan.
So far I like it. It does have its restrictions for running on other days (I can’t edit the schedule). But the timer and such are great tools!
I use to use Hal’s website, but this app is so much easier and so helpful. Very thankful to have found it
