The best kind of weird
This game was very weird (in the best way possible) I love how some elements in this game can be found in other games by Rusty Lake. It’s like everything comes full circle! I’m looking forward to playing all the games by Rusty Lake.
Immersive play, breathtaking art
I usually don’t write reviews but I am so taken by this beautiful game that I have to applaud the makes of this wonderful indie game from the artists to the storytellers and of course those who designed the gameplay itself, as well as everyone else involved.
I resolved the first plague in a few minutes, which I guess is both a blessing and a curse in itself, and I just had to write this review before continuing. I truly hope I don’t fly through this game and get to enjoy it a bit longer..
It’s great so far though, just the type of puzzle mystery I love, but with a unique twist.
Grim, haunting, beautiful
My late wife got me this game and I finally was able to revisit it recently.
The puzzles all intertwine amazingly, and there is a haunted, forlorn, sinister feeling to everything. If you would like to step into a universe of symbolic depravity while bending your brain on very creative and original puzzles, this is a game with a convoluted theme, eerie graphics and music, and decently friendly interface. The puzzles, while not discouragingly difficult, may keep you entertained for days, and the secrets range from tap-rewarding to fiendish.
Awesome fun! Another Rusty Lake hit!
Great level of challenge for sure. There are negative reviews below that say some of the puzzles are too hard and “nobody” can solve them without looking online. Well, I guess I’m nobody, because I just completed it all over the course of 2 evenings, without a hint or ever a glimpse of a walkthrough. Will it take you some time to complete? Yes, but that’s the point! Who wants a game that you finish in 15 mins? Well worth the money spent. There aren’t many activities that will give you many hours enjoyment for only $2.99. If you like a good challenge, this one is for you. If not, don’t blame the developers because it’s too hard for you, just delete it and look elsewhere for something easier.
A classic
I’m a 33 year old mom and don’t usually play games on my phone, but Samsara Room happened to come across recommendations in the App Store and my kid was asleep so figured why not. I’ve now played almost every single game Rusty Lake offers, including the ones that cost money.
I recommend this one to someone starting out the series. It’s in my opinion the least difficult of all of the others, but I still thoroughly enjoyed playing.
This game is simply brilliant. Please keep the games in this series coming, I will keep playing!
So epic
It’s a little different than the other Rusty lake games but I think this one is one of my favorites, I might replay it sometime. I love the concept of the plagues and I also enjoy the fact we get to see more of the family tree. Absolutely an awesome game I am a Rusty lake lover.
Another one NOT for kids 12+ no
This game is very very creepy and dark very quickly. Not a game I want to open myself to and get some bad juju or something worst. Nope.
Plague 7 issue
Won’t let me put the spike in the guy who is trapped in ice so I’m stuck.
Work of art
This is one of the most imaginative and thought provoking experience I’ve ever had with a game, a mobile game nonetheless.
The story is creative and enjoyable, and utilized the 10 plagues very well. Oh, and don’t get me started on the music, the perfect mix of calming and unnerving elements make the music yet another aspect of why this game is great. I do hope you continue this series. And hey, maybe you might get a full length film someday.
This one is SO GOOD
That’s why you pay 3 dollars. Better that the already awesome free ones. Ten chapters. Wow. Love the production.so good!!!!
